WHY THIS PAGE EXISTS

Welcome to
Atlas Restaurant Group

"Redefining culinary culture." Inspired by their grandfather's success in hospitality, partners Alex and Eric Smith built Atlas to fill a culinary and experiential void — and to create real careers while doing it.

The gap between saying yes and walking in the door is where people go quiet. This page closes it. Everything you need before your first shift is here, on your phone, in plain language — no jargon, no forms you have to hunt for.

Redefining culinary culture

Our standard, in three words

It is not a slogan on a wall — it is the bar every shift is measured against.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Core values and pillars of operation

The beliefs and standards behind every Atlas concept — and how performance is measured here.

EMPLOYEE CORE VALUES

What we live by, every shift

Professionalism

Personal care in a distinguished and professional manner.

Responsibility

Personal accountability for our own actions.

Excellence

Strive to be the very best.

Trust

The bond that holds our organization and our relationships together.

Teamwork

Our greatest achievements are only possible by helping and respecting others.

Training

Belief in a culture of continual learning and development.

Uniqueness

Raise the bar and provide unparalleled entertainment experiences.

Community

We are an integral part of our community, with a diverse and inclusive mentality toward hiring and hospitality.

PILLARS OF OPERATION

How we operate

01

Quality of Product

The highest quality product from across the globe, plus uncommon offerings guests cannot find in our markets — and, in the same quest for quality, locally owned farmers and purveyors, including our own sustainable farm in Finksburg, Maryland.

02

Hospitality

We are a hospitality organization first: service to our guests and our employees creates the entire Atlas Experience, and going above and beyond — always exceeding expectations — is what sets us apart.

03

Environment

The environment the experience is delivered in is paramount — lights, music, tables, chairs, uniforms and cleanliness managed throughout the shift — plus entertainment: live music, DJs, theatrical shows and more.
